When I was very young, I started collecting pretty gold earrings, each pair carrying its own story.
They were each given to me by people I love: my mother, my grandmother, a cherished aunt, a close friend.
The earrings are now in a box, together with my first rings.
A box of childhood jewelry. A box of innocence and giving, markings of my first steps towards adulthood.
I keep them for my daughters, waiting to pass the memories and love on to the next generation.
